Donations & support

Support should begin with trust.

Three Pillars wants community support to be useful, documented, and honest about what it can accomplish. That means building the safeguards before adding a payment button.

Support page · preparation stage

A responsible giving page, before online giving opens.

This page establishes the future support framework without soliciting or processing contributions. Visitors can request updates or discuss a community partnership; they will not be asked for money, card details, or a pledge.

Practical help should meet a practical need.

01

Room readiness

Beds, linens, storage, lighting, and practical items that help a new room feel stable and usable.

02

Resident essentials

Future support may help with basic move-in needs, identification documents, work readiness, and other approved essentials.

03

Transportation access

Reliable ways to reach work, appointments, recovery supports, and community responsibilities.

04

Community partnerships

Relationships with local employers, service providers, civic groups, and recovery-support organizations.

Four gates must be cleared.

  1. 01Maryland charitable-solicitation status is confirmed.
  2. 02Federal tax status and any tax-deductibility language are verified.
  3. 03An approved payment processor and refund procedure are in place.
  4. 04Acknowledgment, recordkeeping, and restricted-use practices are documented.
